Class & Workshop Descriptions

SHAKTI'S FLOW WITH MARCUS CAMMUSE

This uplifting subtle flow is centered on opening the 12 meridians durinng beautiful movement. Students will learn virtuousness mantras and tones to illuminate the soul and 7 chakras. Asanas will be practiced with full meridian activation with the accompanying element. This awareness brings students into harmony with themselves and our universe, students will become familiar with elemental strengths and weaknesses which explain the balance of life. 

 

STRONG SPINES, SOFT HEART WITH KIM LOMONACO

Our spines are a crucial structure and energetic hub in our bodies. Develop strength and intelligence around your spine, so you may present to the world with a soft heart. Through simplified anatomic exploration and embodied practice of asana and pranayama, we will connect the condition of our spine, our lifelong pillar of support, to our capacity for Compassion. 

 

MUGWORT MOXABUSTION WITH VICTORIA TAYLOR

Artemis Vulgaris is a common mugwort.  In this class participants will learn how to use this herb externally to enhance family health.  We will cover tthe energetics, the benefits, various methods and uses. Everyone will have an opportunity to experience moxabustion and will receive materials for home use.

EARTH MANDALA WORKSHOP WITH SHELLEY MANGOLD

Raising environmental awareness, we will create a large ephemeral group art installation that will be left to weather or blow away at the end of the festival. If time allows, we will create a smaller expressive mandala, which we will take only pictures and not leave it behind.

BALANCE & STRENGTHEN YOUR AURA WITH BRANDON HAMILTON

When your aura is strong and balanced you are able to attract the things you need for your life's mission, your approachable and radiant and it will boost your immune system to keep you from getting sick. We will end with the prosperity meditation that was given for when you need money.
